Rabbi Yossi Sprung grew up in Yerushalayim and attended Yeshivas Brisk. He received smicha from HaGaon HaRav Asher Weiss shlit”a as part of the Beit Medrash for Leadership Training Minchas Asher, as well as from other gedolim in Eretz Yisrael. Since 2004, Rabbi Sprung has served as the senior halachic assistant and Rosh Kollel for his Rebbe Muvhak, HaRav Asher Weiss shlit”a. In this capacity, Rav Yossi has dealt with many complex halachic questions relating to medicine and medical ethics and has organized medical halacha conferences all over the world. Rabbi Sprung is also the founder and Dean of the Institute for Halachic Implications of Emerging Technologies.

Beis medrash govoah of medical halacha 

A leading guide and posek for other pulpit rabbis and educators, Rabbi Mordechai Willig is the Rabbi Dr. Sol Roth Professor of Talmud and Contemporary Halachah at Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. He has been a Rosh Yeshiva at the Mazer School of Talmudic Studies since 1973 and a Rosh Kollel at RIETS. Rabbi Willig received a B.A. in mathematics from Yeshiva College in 1968 and a Master’s in Jewish History in 1971 from the Bernard Revel Graduate School. He received semicha that same year. He has served as spiritual leader of Young Israel of Riverdale in the Bronx, NY, since 1974, and has written a sefer, Am Mordechai, and many articles in Torah scholarship journals.

Rabbi Zalman Dick received his BA from the Rabbinical College of America in 2019. He is currently a Rabbi in Kollel Beis David specializing in Jewish Law and Ethics under Rabbi Yitchok Zilberstein. Rabbi Zilberstein is a prominent posek and expert in medical ethics as he is the Rav of Mayanei Hayeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak.
